Will Hensley was born and raised in Kentucky. As a child, he was fascinated by the natural world. His family moved from Winchester, Kentucky, to Louisville, where he later graduated from the University of Louisville. He then worked in the coal industry in Whitley County, Kentucky, assisting with surveying, mapping, and soil and water sampling. After working at Yellowstone National Park in Mammoth Hot Springs, Wyoming, he and his wife, Morgan, returned to Louisville for a year before moving to Chattanooga, where he joined the PFAS Georgia team.
Why did you join the PFAS GA team?
Will joined the PFAS Georgia team because he believes corporations should be held accountable for their actions. Disregarding the health of community members and the ecosystems they depend on for the sake of greed is unconscionable, and he is proud to be part of this fight.
