Nick Simet grew up in New Jersey and moved to South Florida in 2017, trading freezing temperatures and snow for extreme heat and hurricanes. Nick earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Accounting and spent several years working in social services and forensic accounting. Through a series of fortunate events, Nick began working in the mass tort field and has remained there ever since.
Why did you join the PFAS GA team?
Work in mass tort began in 2020, with a focus on personal injury and product liability cases. Close collaboration with individuals whose lives were permanently altered by circumstances beyond their control strengthened a commitment to helping clients navigate the complex legal process. Mass tort litigation is often lengthy and intricate, and providing a reliable point of contact helps ensure clients feel informed, supported, and heard. After visiting the PFAS Georgia office and learning about contamination across the state, the opportunity to continue doing meaningful work that makes a difference was welcomed.
